Midterm

                This semester I was able to do a lot more with John, Colleen, and Anna in broadcast. This semester it has been better for me to try and get as many hours in as I could because it helped me learn so much more at a faster rate then what I did last semester. Me john and Tony have still been doing our weekly broadcast  which has help a lot in terms of learning how to exactly edit and fix all of our mistakes. Working without Kevin this semester feels different because he actually taught us a good amount of being on camera and making sure that you are able to pronounce all of the words that you are trying to say when you are on the air. But the most interesting thing that I have done so far is getting an interview with the people in the Career center. The people in there were very helpful in my search to get all of my questions answered and understanding how someone can walk in to their office at anytime and ask any question they want about their career or about writing a resume or just how to improve on their qualities as a college student. Also seeing Colleen in front of the camera help a lot because before then I had only seen John or Kevin giving their usual talk on Moc Sports Talk, not to say that Kevin or John are bad at what they do, but it was interesting to see someone other than those two talk about something other than sports. She seems very confident in what she is doing and how she goes out and does her job, and prepares very well for what she about to do every time she goes out and does her show. Getting the stories for Anna has been a very interesting thing as well because I can’t just think about it last second because it will not sound as good as she expects it to be. It takes time to think about the blogs that we have to send her. But after saying all of that I still like going to all of the basketball, baseball, and softball games this season. All of Mocs Sports have been on point this year. It is very easy to cover sports when the teams that you cover win as much as our teams do. Having different people come in and be interviewed by us has also been something that has been so amazing because we can actually ask them questions about how they were feeling at a specific point in the game instead of inferring. For the rest of the semester John talked to use about having me and tony do our podcast more by ourselves and also being able to be on camera which I think is so amazing for me being a freshmen. Well I’m sorry this is about 22 mins late but I completely forgot about it because I was studying for my history test later in the day so I hope the penalty isn’t too bad.

Softball Game

Worked the camera for the softball game we won the game 3-1 and i was able to get some great shots of the team and of the entire field. Wasn't there for that long only half and hour but still important to put down

Moc Sports Talk Podcast

Did the Podcast with John, Tony, and a special caller from Boston also named Tony. Talked about mostly baseball and basketball in the global sense. After that was done stay for a bit and edited our work. Worked for 2 hours strong this time.

Baseball Game

Went to watch the first game of the double header baseball game. Got some great shots of the team and the outfield. Stayed outside in the cold weather for about 2 and half hours.

Worked with Luti on the camera for the interview with the Student Concluder and Anna. Worked for another half and hour and got out of practicum class

Interviewed Brandon Jenkins for half and hour. Worked on the camera and listen to the sound check.

Filmed the readers for John Brandon Jenkins wasn't able to come because of previous arrangements. Worked for and hour and half and hopefully will be able to interview with Brandon on Thursday.

Worked the camera for the news broadcast today. filmed John and Collen do the weekly broadcast for and hour.

Practicum Hours

Worked both of the basketball games with Jeanie and Luti got to meet all of the past players that were on the FSC basketball team that won it all in 1981 some very interesting people. 4 hours of work in total very long day.
